On The Cusp

Wow - can you believe the season is half over?! Last night was a tough game that we just couldn't capitalize on! But hey, the other team (HC Storm) is #1 in the league, and we really were as good as them! For us to only allow 2 goals is amazing! Way to go Mason! It seems like we are the team that is really good, but just can't get a win yet. There's always one, and it just happens to be us.

It can seem frustrating to not have a win, but keep in mind that we are essentially a new team again, with half our players new this season. The same thing happened last Fall, and then by Spring, we finally started winning. That may happen again this year. Try to be patient as this team gets more and more confident and skilled. It is happening! I think we are on the cusp of getting that win.

Don't give up, and especially don't stop doing home drills! We are so proud of all you players and the effort and finesse you produce at each game! You will be rewarded soon, I'm sure!

See you all at practice on Friday, and at the game in Lehi on Saturday.
